Licensed HOMECARE clinicians can provide a variety of assessments to consumers in North Carolina, including substance abuse, psychological, mental health, and developmental assessments. Then, in collaboration with the consumer and others the consumer wishes to have involved, including family, friends, and representatives of other agencies, the results of the assessment are used to create a Person-Centered Plan. Consumer needs are continually assessed after that point, and additional formal evaluations arranged as necessary.
In addition to these substance abuse, psychological and mental health assessments, HOMECARE clinicians participate in assessments for consumers with Developmental Disabilities and for children under the age of three who are referred for Early Intervention Services. HOMECARE also conducts Supplementary Evaluations for individuals referred by Vocational Rehabilitation for Supported Employment.
If additional specialized assessments are needed, we collaborate with a number of agencies and individuals in each North Carolina community that we serve, and we are glad to make referrals as appropriate. |
